Biography
Prof. Dr. Gül İrepoğlu studied architecture at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts. When she was a doctoral student, she started to work as an assistant at the Department of Art History, Faculty of Letters in Istanbul University. She completed her doctorate in 1984. She became an associate professor in 1991, a full professor in 1997. She gave her classes on “the Renaissance Art”, “Baroque Art”, “Neoclassic and Romantic Art”, “European Art in the 19th century”, “Ottoman Art in Westernization” “Comparative History on Art” and “Ottoman Miniature Art”.
Prof. İrepoğlu retired from Istanbul University after she served 26 years. She has numerous publications on the Painting Art in the 18th – 20th centuries, Portrait of Ottoman Sultans, Artistic relationship between East and West and History of Jewelry.
Prof. İrepoğlu is the board member of UNESCO Turkish National Commission as well as the chairperson of special committee of Cultural Heritage. She is also the trustee and the chairperson of TAÇ foundation (Türkiye Anıt Çevre Turizm Değerlerini Koruma Vakfı). She has prepared and presented television programs “Şehir Mekân” and “Sanat Mekân” on TRT2 between 2005 and 2007. Prof. İrepoğlu is also a fiction writer and has published many books such as: “Gölgemi Bıraktım Lale Bahçelerinde” (2004), “Cariye” (2007). She has given conferences in Turkey and abroad.

Biography
Yasemin Bradley is a Turkish female physician specialized as nutritionist and dietitian. She is also a television presenter and writer.
Born as Yasemin Özdemir, she graduated from the Dokuz Eylül University in Izmir studying medicine. She worked a long time as a prime-time news presenter at the television channel Kanal D. She moved to England and settled there when she was touched much from the destruction of the 1999 İzmit earthquake. In London, she was trained in media production management at the BBC Turkish. She married to psychotherapist Anthony Bradley, who inspired her in healthy lifestyle. Upon her spouse’s advice, she received education in nutrition and dieting at the alternative therapy school ITEC in London.
Özdemir Bradley translated two books of the renowned American television and radio host Larry King (1929–2012) into Turkish under the title Kiminle Ne Zaman, Nerede, Ne Zaman, Nasıl Konuşmalı (1996), II. Dünya Savaşı Aşk Öyküleri (2002) She authored with her spouse diet food books Gelecek Yiyeceklerde (“The Future is in Food”) in 2002, and Bradley Mutfağı (“Bradley’s Cuisine”) in 2004. She edited the memoirs of a military officer and published it in 2002 under the title Parola: Harbiyeli Aldanmaz (“Password: Cadet does not get taken in”). In 2009, she published a series of three books on child development titled Cemile Doğru Beslenmeyi Öğreniyor (“Cemile Learns How to Eat Healthily”), Cemile Sağlıklı Yaşamayı Öğreniyor (“Cemile Learns How to Live Healthily”), and Cemile Boyu Uzasın İstiyor (“Cemile Wishes To Grow Tall”).
In 2012, she started a television program titled Dr. Yasemin Bradley ile Reçetesiz Hayat’ (“Life Without Prescription by Dr. Yasemin Bradley”) at the channel TRT Haber aired Thursday nights at 21:05 local time.
She was honored with the “Best Female TV News Presenter 1996” award by the “Tabloid Journalists Association” (Turkish: Magazin Gazetecileri Derneği).

Who is R. Hakan Kırkoğlu?
Hakan Kırkoğlu worked in treasury, research and financial institutions departments in the banking sector from 1993 until 2000. Denizbank was his last stop in his banking career which he left in 2000 to work on astrology. He studied at the Faculty of Astrological Studies in the UK. He set up his own consultancy firm in Turkey. With a group of colleagues, Kırkoğlu founded Astrobil (Association of Astrology Union) in 2000. He served as the global astrology coordinator at the United Astrology Conference (UAC 2008) held in the USA. Ferhat Boratav got his degree in history from Boğaziçi University. He received his master’s degree on “Turkish Immigrant Workers” from Grenoble University in France. His media career began at Nokta newsmagazine. He worked as a producer, presenter and radio journalist at the BBC World Service’s Turkish Section. Upon his return to Turkey, he briefly worked for a television production company. He then went back to the newsroom, and served as the managing editor of ATV News and then as the editor-in-chief at CNN Turk, where he currently holds the position of editorial consultant.
