Psychologist Deniz Bayel works for working parents to support their child’s development, overcome the difficulties they face and establish a work-private life balance.
Having graduated from Boğaziçi University Psychology Department, Bayer has worked as manager in corporate communication sector for many years. Deciding to give a different direction to her career, she went back to school and completed her master’s degree in Applied Developmental Psychology. She then established a training and consultancy company called Zero to Eighteen.
Parental roles are not easy in the digital age, Bayel emphasizes the relationship between excessive media use, delay in attention to language development, learning and social skills, lack of attention, focus problems and sleep problems, especially in the 0-6 age period.
She is an active volunteer in Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG), Turkey Disabled Sports Aid and Education Foundation (TESYEV).
